Goldman participated as a subcontractor to the EU-funded project «Development and Enhancement of the capabilities of the Cyprus National CSIRT».
The Project started on the 20th of September 2017 and has ended on the 20th of September 2021. The total budget for the Project was €1,284,000.
The scope of the project was to prepare the National Cyprus Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT)/ Computer Emergency Report Team (CERT) for the requirements and tasks arising from the Directive on Security of Network and Information System (NIS Directive) and the General Data Protection Regulation.
Specifically, the project was further developed and improved CY CSIRT capabilities to provide proactive and reactive services in response to security incidents to the consumers and various public and private constituents in the Republic of Cyprus (the government CSIRT, the academic CSIRT, the Cyprus police Cybercrime unit, the Critical Information Infrastructure Administrators/owners – CII, the Electronic Communications Operators and the Internet Service Providers – ISPs).
The project also aimed at facilitating cross-border cooperation and information exchange with other European CSIRTs by using existing infrastructures, tools, mechanisms and other key tools used by CSIRT community.
